Who Are We?

We are a baby gear rental company that focuses on providing your family with quality gear throughout all stages of childhood. From infancy needs to open-ended play for the whole family, Urban Baby Club is the solution that introduces circular and borrowing economy to create sustainability and aims to counter the negative effects of consumerism revolved around the baby and child industry.

Whether LA is your home or you are just visiting on holiday, Urban Baby Club is a way for you to bring beautiful pieces into your space.  We solve your needs by curating a collection of quality products and delivering them straight to your door! We offer everything from full sized cribs, strollers, and car seats, to sand toys, wooden blocks, and hiking child carriers.

According to Oberlo, the toy industry was the second largest category of online shopping in the U.S in 2020.  With schools closing, limited access to outdoor play, and enrichment through the arts; home had to become a haven for littles.   The amount of toys and gear begin to stack up because there is an ever changing need for specific items because our children outgrow products within a few months, or they bore of the same things for too long.

Rooted in play and sustainability, we aim to introduce qualities of a circular economy in our company.  Here at Urban Baby Club, we offer an introduction to these values childhood and focuses on supporting the growth of your family from Day 1. 

We help families with their growing needs by providing high quality baby gear and service unlike our big box competitors we source locally and secondhand.

 

About the Founder

Sandy Poole

After 12 years of working with children and traveling with families internationally, Sandy decided to turn concepts she's gathered from experience into concrete solutions for other families.  No longer will you have to fear a baggage claim ticket being lost, or worry about not having the essentials that make your life easier and more enjoyable when you're away from home.

Sandy has dedicated her career to working with children.  Graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology from University of South Florida, she pursued working with children with maladaptive behaviors and focuses on incorporating her values as a Waldorf educator to attend to the whole child.  Understanding the needs of children at each developmental stage in adolescence, she is able to curate an enriching and engaging collection that meets the needs of your child so they can tap into growth and learning.

Our mission is relieve you of worry and stress so you may have more time to enjoy the littlest of moments with your loved ones.
